Anxiety = Holding On To An Electric Fence

Electric Fence Dead Snake
Don't Bite The Hand That Bleeds You

Shock therapy can be very helpful.

There ain’t nothing quite like springing a choke inducing surprise on folks to alter their state of mind.

The kind of conditioning jolts I’m talking about here are the ones that are short and sweet. Straight to the point as in I just got a hired / fired or I’m pregnant / gay. Easy to instantly see the difference in the situation.

Dread and despair are a different kettle of fish mostly due to their expanse, duration and tenacity. Once that adamant angst animal has a hold of a person, it’s pretty dang tough to shake.

Of course, just knowing that all of this stuff is an inside job caused by you know who is the first step to being able to loosen its grip.

But even realizing that pearl of wisdom don’t stop the amperage from hitting a person full force and involuntarily gritting teeth.

At least now we know where its coming from.

And who keeps hooking us up.

Thank you, friend.

Barry out.

Here, talk to this dude from work. He’s bin there.

Men At Work – OverKill

I can’t get to sleep
I think about the implications
Of diving in too deep
And possibly the complications

Especially at night
I worry over situations
I know WE’LL be alright<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Perhaps its just imagination

Day after day it reappears
Night after night my heartbeat, shows the fear
Ghosts appear and fade away

Alone between the sheets
Only brings exasperation
It’s time to walk the streets
Smell the desperation

At least there’s pretty lights
And though there’s little variation
It nullifies the night
From overkill

Day after day it reappears
Night after night my heartbeat, shows the fear
Ghosts appear and fade away
COME BACK ANOTHER DAY

I can’t get to sleep
I think about the implications
Of diving in too deep
And possibly the complications

Especially at night
I worry over situations
THAT I know will be alright
It’s just overkill

Day after day it reappears
Night after night, my heartbeat, shows the fear
Ghosts appear and fade away

Much of what I write will be quite understandable to insane folks.

The rest will be, uh, less understandable...

      Yes, thank you.

You are absolutely right. We have to start speaking frankly about how this dis – eases affect us. Ain’t nothing wrong with being short, black, farmer, blue eyed or cancer ridden. Ats just who we are and talking about it allows us to understand that there’s nothing wrong with being wrong. Just thinking there is is. Unless I’ve just confuzled myself, I think you get the drift.
There is no normal and who in the hail are we comparing ourselves to anyway?
