Most folks keep little secrets about what they’ve done or seen done.
They squirrel away bits and pieces of history and knowledge
of stuff that either shouldn’t of happened or should not
be spoken of as having happened and as a result we
stumble and stammer in the darkness, groping
for some non-existent handrail at the top
