To Dream Like An Ant

Your feelers are in and

Your danger is out.

You know that you’re you

But not what you’re all about.

Do as your told by that voice in your head.

Fitting in so damn well ignoring that dread.

That your life means but nothing.

A waste of no time.

And falling awake is so bloody sublime

Remember, remember, who you really are.

A piece of so greatness, you’re both near and far.

Everywhere, all the time.

You’re a tree and an ant,

You’re all of these things.

Remember your essence.

Remember your wings.

Much of what I write will be quite understandable to insane folks.

The rest will be, uh, less understandable...
