Since hector was a pup folks have been taught to save loot.
Perhaps we got this from squirrels but no matter where it originated this thinking is an extremely flawed concept which can only lead to the downfall of mankind.
Under no circumstances should anyone consider themselves worth-less and to save even one dollar (that’s what insurance is for) from today’s production assumes your effort will produce less value tomorrow, essentially ensuring we will consider
ourselves worth-less at some future date. If this feeling of diminished value over time is engrained it will influence everyone and anything we focus upon and they too
will begin to reflect waning appraisal which can’t help but fuel the fire of
denigration of anything yesterday. Scrimping definitely is a logical
action to take when rations are limited but when we plan to
kill or eliminate the very aspect of reality that got us
here in the first place we have passed the point
of no return and into some abyss where we
ordinary folk are of small consequence
because we are no longer “making”.
Surely you recognize that this
thinking cannot possibly
save us – especially
from anything of value.
Thank you, friend.
Barry out.
for the love of pete please save for some time in the future when you are worth less than zero.
