Today is December 17, 2012 and I’m 36 stories away from producing 1200 stories in 2012.
Not bad for a dude who felt he would be hard pressed to write 500 stories in 12 months!
After all, it took me 2 years to write my first 500 stories (2010-2011) so the challenge to myself was a doubling of my creative pace.
Then I hit 500 stories in June or July of 2012 and wondered if there was anyway I could write 1000.
One thousand original stories in a year?! I’ll give it a go, I said to myself.
That’s a lot to ask from an old alcoholic.
Anyway, I pulled off 1000 stories by the end of October 2012 and wondered if I could keep up the 100 stories a month pace.
Sheeit. At’s nuttin! bragged the about to skin his nose author.
Anywho, I just wanted you to know that as a reader of my garr-baje, I owe you a lot.
Ah wouldn’t do it without you.
