  1. Roman culture is often called Greco-Roman because the Romans were very much influenced by Greek culture. They adopted several of the Greek gods as their own, renaming them and giving them slightly different attributes. Ares, the Greek god of war became Mars, Roman god of war. The Grecian Empire was very widespread, so the Romans would have been very familiar with the Grecian influence. Grecian influence also appears in Roman art and arcitecture and can be seen in the design of buildings and temples. The Romans carried the Greek influences forward with their Empire building.

    First time to your website and I love your style and layout. History repeats itself and eventually we will probably take ourselves down. Amazing how inefficient the government is and how they throw OUR money away. Bring home the troops and protect our borders and clothe and feed our own people.
