It Just Happened To

Me.

I was just standing there…

Wasn’t doing nuthin’

Ah got no idea why I was fired…

It musta bin the wrong time

Wrong place and stupid people

In mah face and

Don’t forget I had that cast

And couldn’t get outa dat way?

I was trapped inna mindset and

You don’t think that regret

Was alarming me awake ev’ry day?

I had these dues to pay.

Or else these dudes would play

I’m in a hurry to get things done

Over and over ’til life’s no fun

And, I didn’t want that

So I told them that

I’d go along with their program

I was fibbing.
