They refused to stop acting

And just be themselves.

They were living movie lives

With Santa and his elves.

There was peace on earth

Good will toward men.

But the lobby movie theater

Played a movie of mahem.

It was just a movie, scary though.

And as the audience left that show

They strolled right in, and took their seats

In the movie playing in the streets.

Now they were acting like they didn’t

If they were actors, they weren’t in it.

The play continued, and they all laughed.
